I should have stuck with the more traditional selections like chicken thigh and wing.

The chicken oysters were definitely distinctive and something I haven't had at any other yakitori place.Epicuryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18202402318969816036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912629715405541739.post-1574744187412756772008-12-28T20:19:00.000-08:002008-12-28T20:19:00.000-08:00sorry to hear abt the bad pork and beef :/I only h...sorry to hear abt the bad pork and beef :/
I only had chicken when I was there and really liked them - especially the seseri.gourmetpigshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17043385325645560283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912629715405541739.post-52970650591967129102008-12-18T17:07:00.000-08:002008-12-18T17:07:00.000-08:00I think the preparation of the chicken was very st...I think the preparation of the chicken was very strong. It was the non chicken meat dishes that were a bit off.

It was indeed the two prized pieces on the back near the thigh. The texture was quite unique. I don't think any other part of chicken has the tautness of the oyster. I suppose the light seasoning was supposed to keep the attention on the natural flavor of the chickenEpicuryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18202402318969816036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912629715405541739.post-3310439569595826992008-12-18T14:13:00.000-08:002008-12-18T14:13:00.000-08:00It's too bad Totto didn't live up to the hype. Was it chicken with oysters, or was it the piece of meat in the lower back of the bird? In my opinion, that little piece is the prize of the bird(there are two per bird), much like the cheeks of a whole fish. Regardless, I'm sure things can only go uphill from here.

WillFoodDiggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00829942135844066238noreply@blogger.com
